BASINGSTOKE and North Hants second team made it a club double over Totton and Eling, as like the first team they also enjoyed a comfortable victory winning by six wickets.
For the second week running Callum Coombs was the star with the bat, as he scored an unbeaten 70 to guide the Bountymen to a winning score of 194-4. His excellent 120 ball knock included 13 fours.
He was well supported by Andy Giles (27) as they shared a third wicket stand of 68 and then along with captain Lee Nurse, they added an unbeaten 73 between them to win the match.
Earlier in the contest, Totton put into bat were soon in trouble at 17-2. Dan King taking the first wicket, on his way to excellent figures of 10-5-19-2.
Dave Pistorius and Harry Smith also took two wickets each, as the visitors were all out for 190 as Chris Thomason top scored with 35.
This proved not to be enough and the second string will hope to continue their winning run when they travel to Alton II next weekend.
