JAMES Vince has captained England Lions to a one-day series win against South Africa A.
The Hampshire batsman oversaw an 89-run win in the Pretoria township of Mamelodi to put the Lions 3-0 up in the five-match series, with one to play.
Vince, who made 99 out of 376-9 in the last 50-over match between the sides, contributed 34 as his side amassed 378-6
Then World Cup discard Ben Stokes made an unbeaten 151 from only 86 balls – including 15 sixes.
Stokes arrived at the crease after Vince was brilliantly caught by David Wiese, having hit two fours and a six in his 43-ball innings, which included a stand of 74 with Jason Roy.
Then the Durham man took 3-51 as South Africa A were bowled out for 289, with Vince taking himself off after conceding 15 from his only over.
The Lions can secure a 4-0 win by winning the last game in Benoni on Thursday.
