Hampshire stars James Vince and Michael Carberry have designed coaching courses for aspiring young cricketers that will take place at the Ageas Bowl this winter.

Both have helped develop ten-week programmes, which will run from October to December, with Vince’s covering under-13s and Carberry’s for 13 to 15-year-olds.

Youngsters can expect video master classes from both batsmen, as well as input from the Hampshire Cricket coaching team, with the aim of mirroring the sort of work that both professionals undergo during the off-season.

T20 captain Vince said: “I have worked hard with the Hampshire Cricket coaching team to devise this course and we are hopeful every junior cricketer involved will gain a lot from it.

“Whether you are a professional or a junior, the off-season is an excellent opportunity to develop your game and these courses will look to improve a number of different areas.”

Hampshire’s coaching manager, Richard Browning, added: “It’s fantastic to get the support of our T20 captain and an international cricketer.

“These courses are an important part of the HCITC (Hampshire Cricket in the Community) programme and we look forward to working with and helping out the next generation of young Hampshire stars.”

Each course is priced at £224.99.
