ENGLAND’S visually impaired side will take on Hook and Newnham Basics in a special t20 match tomorrow (10.30am).
Former Hook and Newnham Basics captain Ross Hunter is coach of England team and the game is part of their build-up to the World Cup, which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, in November.
It is set to be a great family day at the King George V Playing Fields, with Hampshire mascot Roary the Lion in attendance, t20 skills games, a speed gun to test how fast you can bowl and the chance to bowl at an England player.
The club bar will be open and there will also be a hog roast and Pimms tent.
Looking forward to the day Hunter said: “If anyone is interested in visual impaired cricket then this is great chance to see the game in action and find out more.”
