OSCAR Evans and Warren Jones both bagged braces as the Basingstoke Buffalo won 7-4 at the Lee Valley Lions in South Two.
Having gone a goal before at 3:05, the visitors led 4-1 at the first break as Jones scored twice and there were single strikes from Sam Brooks and Cameron Buckle.
Evans then scored the only goal of the second session, which was tied 1-1 with the Lions.
The final period was also tied as Evans and Greg Martyn were on target for the visitors.
There were three assists for Brooks and single helpers for Daniel Lackey, Josh Richards and Sam Dollin.
The Buffs final league game is at home to the Chelmsford Chieftains on Sunday April 8 (6.30pm).
