CHRISTIAN Quinn netted a hat-trick as the Basingstoke Bison under-13s won a 5-4 thriller against visiting Slough.
Quinn opened the scoring after 63 seconds and then doubled the advantage with a shorthanded strike four minutes later.
The visitor’s hit back to tie the game 2-2 at 28:03.
The young Herd edged 3-2 in front at 33:16, after Rory Rennie and Roman Cathcart combined for Brandon West to score. However 18 seconds later, Slough were level again.
Oliver Hemming-Maher with a shorthanded strike and Quinn’s hat-trick made it 5-3. Slough scored with two minutes left to set up a frantic finale.
