THE BASINGSTOKE Buffalo will be hoping to record their second win of the season, when the winless Invicta Mustangs are in town on Sunday (face-off 6.30pm).
Last weekend, the Buffalo lost a thrilling Hampshire derby with the Solent Devils, who have moved down to South Two this season.
The home side opened the scoring at 3:17, as Neil Leary netted from Mark Austen.
They doubled their advantage in the 12th minute, as Warren Jones scored from Leary and Matt Levy The Devils pulled a goal back by the first break from Alex Murray.
They then tied the contest going into the final period, thanks to former Buff Mark Pitts.
Solent then won the game thanks to a brace of goals from Richard Facey in the final six minutes, the last being an empty netter.
Before the Buffalo take on Invicta on Sunday, the under-15 Bison are at home to Swindon (4.30pm face-off).
