THE BASINGSTOKE Bison unveiled their shirt designs for this coming season at a special launch, which was held at the club’s title sponsors Sherfield School on Monday night.

The evening was also the first chance for Herd fans to pick up their season tickets for the new season and there was a good turn out.

They also enjoyed a question and answer session with head coach Doug Sheppard and the Bison players.

Herd headman Doug Sheppard was delighted with the way the evening went and said: “It was a very good turn out and Sherfield School were great hosts.

“The return to a black away shirt was greeted well by the fans and I think this season as in previous years, we will be wearing both shirts home and away.”

Any fans who missed the opportunity to pick up their season tickets on Monday evening, can still do so before the first game of the season on Saturday, September 2, when the Peterborough Phantoms visit.

Further season ticket collection evenings are being held in the Basingstoke Arena bar tonight and Thursday, August 31 from 6.30pm on both evenings.
