PAUL Petts scored his first ever Bison goal and Cameron Buckle picked up his first ever Bison point, as the Herd won 7-4 in Streatham on Sunday night.

The visitors got off to a superb start scoring twice in the opening two minutes, as Tomas Karpov converted a pass from Elliott Dewey at 1:19.

Then at 1:41, the returning Roman Malinik and Buckle combined for Wilson to make it 2-0.

The first powerplay for the game, saw the Herd extend their lead to three, as Aaron Connolly netted from Ryan Sutton.

However, the home side hit back with a pair of powerplay goals in the space of 33 seconds, from Jamie Hayes and Alex Sampford to haul themselves back into the contest.

Streatham then scored the only goal of the middle session as Sampford struck again.

The Bison retook the lead 81 seconds into the final period, as Connolly netted his second powerplay marker of the night.

Once again, the home side hit back as Aidan Doughty netted at 44:46 to make it 4-4.

However, this was as good as it got for Streatham as man of the match Connolly netted his hat-trick and a minute later, Grant Rounding made it 6-4 assisted by Dan Davies and Dan Scott.

It was left to Petts to complete the scoring at 53:59, as he converted a pass from Malinik.

The Bison have just one game this weekend, when they face the Milton Keynes Thunder on home ice on Saturday (6.30pm).
