THE Basingstoke under-15 Bison suffered a 7-5 loss at Guildford last weekend.
The young Herd took the lead from William Birch, as he converted a pass from Thomas Banner.
Another Birch strike doubled the advantage, this time assisted by Oliver Reeves and Sam Hemming-Maher.
Guildford opened their account at 14:26, but eight seconds later the Bison made it 3-1, as Sam Hemming-Maher scored from Travis Penny.
The home side then scored three unanswered goals to take a 4-3 lead in the contest.
Penny levelled things, as he finished a move which involved Birch and Emily Harris.
Once again, Guildford slammed in a treble for a 7-4 advantage, before Charlie Wedge from Harrison Wynn completed the match scoring.
The under-13 Bison lost 6-1 also against Guildford, as Cain Russell scored their only goal assisted by Hudson Friday.
