IT HAS certainly been a busy time for both the team and supporters in recent weeks and we have dug deep as a team and got the results we wanted.

Earlier in the season we played three games in three days and in the last week we played four in six days. In total we won six out of seven games, which is a great achievement.

A trip to Milton Keynes was the last of our series of four games in six days. We came away with a victory and the guys had to put their bodies on the line at times during that game as they blocked a number of big shots.

We then returned to home ice on Saturday and played a very solid game against a good Steeldogs team.

Early on we lost Joe Greener, as he was unfortunately dismissed for high sticks, which is a bad rule in my view.

This gave them a five minute powerplay which will killed and built on the momentum to win the game.

Next up we travelled to Bracknell, which was never going to be easy, as Joe was added to the players missing from the line-up.

So it was important for us to have Dan Lackey, Ryan Sutton and Alex Sampford in the line-up in recent weeks.

It was a tough game in Bracknell against a hard working team, but we got the job done and collected a win.

Ciaran Long capped a great weekend in Bracknell with a hat-trick, which made it five goals for the weekend. This was impress to see from one of the most talented guys on the team.

Last Saturday saw another near sell-out crowd in Basingstoke and it is so nice to see the community getting behind the team.

We thank all of you for your support and look forward to seeing you all again this Saturday, when the Telford are in town.
