I HOPE fans and players enjoyed a quiet Sunday after a run of five games in eight days.

We’ve got a cup game and two league games this week and I am sure you’ll all be well rested for that.

We travelled over to Guildford on Wednesday to play the final 60 minutes of our semi-final.

We had a single goal deficit, which means we’ve got to play desperate from the first minute.

Winning both our games last weekend has set us up perfectly to come into the game with confidence.

It was a sell-out and I have no doubt hundreds of travelling Bison fans will have made themselves heard.

They know we’ll be doing all we can to give them something to shout about.

They certainly got behind us when we got back to winning ways to beat Milton Keynes.

They’re pushing hard in the league and had just lost their cup game against Peterborough.

Our team played well, especially in the second period. Rene Jarolin joined us during the season having been released by Milton Keynes. His goals were loudly cheered and he deservedly won man of the match.

On Saturday, another Bison player who joined us mid season having been released from his club had a special reason to celebrate our win in Hull.

Despite being struck on the helmet by a puck, Jon Baston contributed to our overtime win. It was yet another mid-season signing, Matt Towalski, who scored the winning goal.

Matt joined us from Bracknell, and we welcome them on Saturday evening for their last visit to our rink.

We then play our last game against Manchester on Sunday.

Games are becoming more frequent and more intense now that we are into the final third of the season.

Come and join us.
