THE Basingstoke Bison turn their attentions back to the Autumn Trophy on Saturday (7pm), as they start a two game series with the Peterborough Phantoms to decide who wins Group One.

Both sides are already assured of a semi-final place, with the winners of the group set to meet the Hull Pirates in the final four, while Swindon will take on the side which finishes second.

Saturday’s game will be a big test for the Bison, as they travel to a side, who currently head South One, but last weekend lost both their game and they will still be without Josh Smith, Stuart Mogg and Paul Petts.

Bison head coach Doug Sheppard said: "Peterborough is always a tough place to go, but we have a coach load of fans going and we want to give them something to cheer about."

On Sunday night (6.30pm) the Herd will be gunning for their tenth straight win in the league when the London Raiders come to town.

On their last visit to Basingstoke in October, they lost 7-1. A game which saw their captain Tom Davis forced to go in goal after an injury to their only netminder on the night Euan King.
