OLIVER Hemming-Maher scored a hat-trick as the Basingstoke under-13 Bison beat Invicta 5-3.

Hemming-Maher netted the Herd's first three goals with assists from Roman Cathcart, Harry Brooks and Cain Russell.

Christian Quinn scored the other two Bison goals, both assisted by Russell.

The previous day, Hemming-Maher scored five times as the under-11 Bison made it five wins on the trot, as they won at Oxford 8-0.

Simon Johnson, Ellis Austin and Brandon West scored the first three goals before Hemming-Maher netted the next five. There were also assists for Jude Affleck and Dimitar Chaprazov.

The under-15 Bison lost 6-4 at home to local rivals Bracknell.

Samuel Stephens scored their opening goal from William Birch and Oliver Bower.

Emily Harris grabbed their second from Samuel Hemming-Maher to make it 2-2.

Travis Penny tied the game again assisted by Russell and then Oliver Reeves made it 4-4, before the visitors scored twice more to win the game.
