THE Basingstoke Buffalo have their first home game of 2017 on Sunday (6.30pm) when they Bristol Pitbulls are the visitors.
The young stars of the 1 Space Services backed team warm-up up for the game, as they helped the under-20 Bison to a 6-1 home win over Oxford.
Paul Petts, who made his Bison debut recently, opened the scoring at 25:26 and Oscar Evans added a second assisted by Christian Han.
Oxford then beat Matthew Friend for the only time in 25 shots to make it 2-1 at the second break.
Kyle Goddard, another Bison debutant a fortnight ago, opened the final period scoring from Connor Hutchison.
Further goals from George Gill and Evans wrapped up the 6-1 victory.
Forward Evans was also on target, as the under-18 Bison tied with the visiting Chelmsford 3-3.
Sam Brooks scored a brace in a win and there were assists for Evans and Cameron Buckle.
