THE Basingstoke Bison completed a quick double over their arch rivals the Bracknell Bees with a 7-2 victory at the Hive on Sunday night.
Two goal scorer from the night before, Derek Roehl netted the opener at 1:55 from man of the match Stuart Mogg.
Rene Jarolin converted a pass from Kurt Reynolds to make it 2-0.
Ciaran Long then scored either side of the first period break to take the Herd's tally to four.
The Bees then opened their account from their man of the match Carl Thompson on the powerplay.
Dan Davies with his second goal of the weekend restored the four goal advantage, before the second buzzer.
Joe Miller with his first goal since returning to the Bison made it 6-1.
James Galazzi then netted the Bees second goal, before Miller with his second completed the victory, as the Bison moved up to third.
In the final minute of the contest, Lukas Smital dismissed for talking out of turn to referee Matt Thompson.
The Bison return to action on Boxing Day (6.30pm) with a home game against the Swindon Wildcats
