THE Basingstoke Buffalo will be looking to continue their home winning form, when they face a visit from the Swindon Wildcats on Sunday night (6.30pm).

This is the team, sponsored by 1 Space Services, last home game of 2106 Some of their young stars warmed up for the game as they helped the Basingstoke under-20 Bison to an impressive 5-3 victory over the Solihull Barons last Sunday.

Paul Petts opened the scoring at 10:47 assisted by Kyle Goddard and then Matt Levy made it 2-0 from a Petts’ helper at 13 minutes dead.

Solihull opened their account 53 seconds before the first break.

The Midlands' side then equalised three seconds from the end of the second session to make it 2-2.

However, the Bison were not to be denied a victory as just 15 seconds of the final period they made it 3-2.

Petts then completed his hat-trick at 47:37, before Levy two minutes later made sure of the win as he scored the Herd's fifth of the game.

Meanwhile in Basingstoke, the under-18 Bison went down 8-3 against visiting Chelmsford.

Oscar Evans had a hand in every goal scoring twice and getting a helper on the opening goal which Sam Brooks netted at 35:45. Cameron Buckle also picked up an assist on the Bison's final goal.
