CAIN Russell scored four times as the Basingstoke under-13 Bison enjoyed their first win of the season winning 7-4 at Invicta.
Russell opened the scoring shorthanded assisted by Hudson Friday, only for the home side to level.
Two goals in the space of nine seconds gave the Bison a 3-1 lead, as Oliver Hemming-Maher scored from Harry Brooks and Russell netted the other.
The Herd further extended their lead as Russell completed his hat-trick, before Invicta pulled a goal back.
Hemming-Maher netted the Bison's fifth goal and then Russell scored again assisted by Zachary Taylor and Friday.
Friday fired in the Herd's seventh, before the home side scored twice to complete the scoring.
