HONOURS were even in the top of the table clash in South West Two after the Basingstoke Buffalo drew 2-2 at the Cardiff Fire.
The Welsh side were quickly out of the blocks as David Sadler scored after 82 seconds.
Cardiff doubled their advantage as Jordan Powell netted at 26:20.
The Buffalo opened their account at 35:47 from Matt Lawday shorthanded, as Dave Collins sat out a cross checking penalty.
Man of the match Ryan Sutton tied the game 17 seconds into the final period, assisted by Mark Pitts and Ashley Skinns.
The Buffalo are next in action at Swindon on Sunday.
