THE Basingstoke under-15 Bison are the new leaders of the South Two, after an excellent 8-2 victory over high flying visiting Streatham.

Lucas Swierc netted the first two goals assisted by Oliver Bower and Emily Harris and then Stephen Samuels weighted in with his own brace, thanks to helpers from Bradley Poole and Ciaran Norris.

Streatham opened their account, but William Birch made it 5-1 at 30:33.

The London side struck again, but the young Herd hit back as man of the match Thomas Banner fired home from Oliver Reeves.

Cain Russell added goal number seven and then Travis Penny completed the excellent victory in which Rubi Escandell was the spirit of the game winner.

Penny had a magnificent game at Swindon for the under-13 Bison as they won 7-1 and he had a hand in every goal The forward opened the scoring assisted by Harrison Wynn and then helped Oliver Hemming-Maher double the advantage.

Swindon pulled a goal back, but five unanswered goals from Penny (3) and Russell (2) completed the victory.

Netminder Thomas Vistuer picked up an assist on the Bison's fourth goal and made 22 saves.
