THE Basingstoke Bison are looking smart both on and off the ice this season thanks to a tie-up with smart of Basingstoke.

Their backing is certain to provide the Bison with plenty of drive for a successful season.

As part of the tie-up, the Houndmills operation has supplied the club with a pair of Smart cars.

The company has further enhanced its presence on the team’s kit and via two rink side boards.

They are also investing in the club’s future as they will donate £50 to the Junior Bison for every new Smart car sold to supporters.

The Bison just need to be mentioned during the purchasing process and a referral cheque presented, which can be obtained from juniorbison.com or sandown-group.co.uk

Keith Jackman, dealer principal said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with Basingstoke Bison, which is a thriving club and one which is generating huge interest and excitement within the local community.

“We wish them every success on the ice and on the road, where they will be spreading the message about themselves in our stylishly-liveried smart cars.”

Bison boss Doug Sheppard added: “As ever, we’re grateful to all of our sponsors and we’re thrilled to add Smart of Basingstoke to that list.

“They have been tremendously supportive, supplying us with not only two fantastic cars but also in developing other ways to support the club such as the Junior Bison referral scheme.

“We welcome them on board and look forward to working with them this season and beyond.”
