THE Basingstoke Buffalo will look to return to the top of South Two West when they face the visiting Cardiff Devils on Sunday night (face-off 6.30pm).
The Buffalo are unbeaten in their last five games on home ice, including a 2-1 win over their Welsh rivals.
The Bristol Pitbulls are the new league leaders, but the Buffalo are only one point behind them with a game in hand.
Last Sunday, they were beaten 9-0 by hosts the Slough Jets, but it was a nothing cup game as both teams had already qualified for the semi-finals.
Ryan Sutton was the Buffalo’s man-of-the-match, while Slough import Zoran Kozic picked up his side’s award after logging up a large amount of ice time, despite his side being well in front.
