BASINGSTOKE Bison made it to their first-ever play-off final after a 5-2 win over Guildford Flames at Coventry.
Tomas Karpov scored the opening goal of the game at 11:50, but Marcus Kristoffersson levelled things by the first buzzer.
The game was won by the Herd thanks to a super second session, which saw Nicky Chinn, Miroslav Vantroba and Joe Rand all score.
Guildford netted the first goal of the final period from Branislav Kvetan, but the Bison replied from Joe Greener to make sure of the win.
The Herd now face Manchester in the final today which starts at 4pm.
