Kempshott LSC dropped their first points of the season, but held onto top spot in division four although they had to come back from two goals down. Richard McCoubrie and Ben Given scored for Kempshott, after Pertemps took a first half lead with Colin Upton’s bullet header six yards out from a corner, then early in the second half Mark French broke clear and slipped the ball past the advancing keeper. Brookvale Reserves fired in a baker’s dozen past Taran’s bemused defence, Chris Waller chalked up a double-hat-trick, another hat-trick for Paul Crow, Tom Skinner a brace and singles by Gareth Slade and Ian Jones in an awesome performance. Ricky Oliver netted for Taran.

Division 4 leaders Kempshott LSC also scored eight, Ben Dillon with a hat-trick, Kevin Beaumont a pair, and Nathan Hollis, Richard McCoubrie and Daniel Young one each, with Steve Grimshaw avoiding the whitewash for shell-shocked Winkle. The match between Brookvale Reserves and Pertemps swung first one way and when the other, as Pertemps came back from three down with a couple of goals from Tol Sotonye, but ’Vale made it safe with a slice of luck in the form of a late goal; but even then Pertemps refused to give up and pulled another goal back by substitute Lee Ford in the last minute, just too late to get on level terms. Keiron Challis, Kevin Jones and two goals by Chris Waller earned the points for ’Vale.
