Southern Electric, without a league victory to their name yet, were in sparking form in their first round Hampshire Sunday Intermediate Cup tie on Sunday, Entertaining Curlew Rangers, they earned their place in the next round through strikes from Stuart Jarvis, Dave Brewer and a pair from Ally Brown. Bounty Rovers slipped at the first hurdle when they lost at C J Glass, Nathan Nurse firing in a consolation goal.
