BASINGSTOKE RFC’s woeful season continued as for the second away game on the trot they were forced to concede their game.
’Stoke had been due to travel to Wimbledon on Saturday, but instead gave the London One leaders a home walk-over.
Just three weeks ago they called off their trip to Twickenham, due to not having enough front row players due to injuries and players having tickets to the final Six Nations game at Twickenham.
It is sorry state of affairs for the club who were playing in National Three last season.
It now remains to be seen if they will fulfil their final fixture of the campaign away at Dover this coming Saturday.
The team can now expect to be docked another five points for missing the game at Wimbledon and this will take their total for deducted points to 25 for the season.
