James Wootton wins Basingstoke Parkrun
BATH Triathlon Club’s James Wootton claimed victory in the latest edition of Basingstoke Parkrun.
Wootton completed the 5km course around War Memor-ial Park in 18min 13sec to win, beating second-placed David Ferguson of Reading Roadrunners by 11 seconds.
Phil Mant was a further nine seconds back in third, while Claire Spencer was the fastest lady, in 21:15.
