Bison prepare for Telford test

ENGLISH Premier League leaders the Basingstoke Bison face basement side the Telford Tigers on Saturday night in their only game of the weekend.
The Herd were due to travel to Shropshire on Sunday night, but the refurbishment of the Telford arena has not been completed in time so the game will be played later in the season.
So far this campaign the Tigers have played all their games on the road – and have lost the lot. But Basingstoke has proved a happy hunting ground for them in the past, with three wins in their last four visits.
Bison player/coach Doug Sheppard is taking nothing for granted and said: “They will be hungry for a win and we have to make sure we play our game.
“We have just one game this weekend so it is important that we win it.”
