Basingstoke Bison remain top after Peterborough Phantoms win

THE BASINGSTOKE Bison reign at the top of the English Premier League goes on after a 2-1 victory at the Peterborough Phantoms on Sunday night.

The  Herd took the lead in the first period from Joe Miller and it remained like that until eight minutes from the end when Ondrej Lauko equalised.

It was left to player/coach Doug Sheppard to grab the winner 53 seconds from the end of the game.
