Basingstoke Bison continue perfect start to season

THE Basingstoke Bison made it three wins out of three at the start of the English Premier League season with a 4-0 victory over the Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday night.
The Herd went ahead after just four minutes through player/coach Doug Sheppard and while the game was not as straightforward as the final score suggests, the hosts never looked back.
Joe Miller struck twice in the second period to make the game practically safe before completing his hat-trick in the final session.
