LIVE - Tonbridge Angels v Basingstoke Town

This live event has finished

4:49pm

FULL-TIME - Tonbridge Angels 0 Basingstoke Town 0

A far from thrilling game but it might just be a decent point given Town's injury problems. They could have nicked it as well.

See The Monday Gazette for a full report and all of the reaction to the game.

4:45pm

There will be three minutes of stoppage time.

4:41pm

SUBSTITUTION - Basingstoke Town - Stefan Brown on for Delano Sam-Yorke (86min)

4:39pm

Town break and it's a shooting chance for Wes Daly, who blasts well over from the edge of the area.

4:39pm

SUBSTITUTION - Tonbridge Angels - Mikel Suarez on for Nathan Koranteng (84min)

4:37pm

SUBSTITUTION - Basingstoke Town - Simon Dunn on for Nathan Campbell (82min)

4:32pm

Tonbridge left-back Henry Muggeridge shoots from the edge of the area but a good block from Jay Gasson deflects the ball wide.

4:29pm

YELLOW CARD - Basingstoke Town - Tim Sills

Sills is booked for the challenge that started all the trouble.

4:28pm

YELLOW CARD - Basingstoke Town - Jordace Holder-Spooner

Substitute Holder-Spooner, who was warming up on the sideline, went over to get involved in the argy-bargy and is booked.

4:27pm

TOWN HIT THE POST

Robbie Kember gifts the ball to Wes Daly in midfield and he feeds Tim Sills. His low shot hits the post with the 'keeper beaten.

The rebound goes right across goal, with Sills' challenge on Ben Judge sparking a melee.

4:18pm

George Purcell almost gets in behind the Town defence but Robert Rice does well to put him under pressure, forcing the striker to pull his shot wide.

4:17pm

That's a decent opportunity for the hosts. Sonny Miles flicks on a corner and the ball drops to Nathan Koranteng, who takes a touch before lashing in an angled drive that flies narrowly over.

4:10pm

Toby Little's cross finds Nathan Campbell at the far post and while his knock-down is not collected, the ball breaks for Wes Daly on the edge of the area and he blasts wide. Not a bad effort.

4:08pm

YELLOW CARD - Tonbridge Angels - Rory Hill

Hill is booked for bringing Nathan Campbell down in midfield.

4:00pm

No changes at the break for either side and we're under way again.

3:48pm

HALF TIME - Tonbridge Angels 0 Basingstoke Town 0

Not a great first half. Tonbridge had more possession and territory but Basingstoke probably created more going forward.

3:42pm

YELLOW CARD - Tonbridge Angels - George Purcell

Ross Adams clearly fouls Purcell but the referee plays advantage and Nathan Koranteng blasts over from 25 yards. The official goes back to the original incident and books Purcell, presumably for something that happened on the ground after Adams' challenge.

3:39pm

A good move from Town fashions another chance. Stuart Lake is given space to fire a great ball across the field for Matt Warner, who takes a touch before crossing early and finding Tim Sills at the near post. Sadly, he cannot finish it off, heading wide.

3:29pm

Chay Morris' kick forward is flicked on by Tim Sills for Toby Little and his cross is only just too high for Delano Sam-Yorke at the far post.

3:23pm

A mistake in the Tonbridge defence gives Delano Sam-Yorke a chance to make ground in the area. He beats a couple of men but the angle is narrow and his shot saved by Lee Worgan, who collects the ball at the second attempt.

3:17pm

That's a good chance for Tonbridge's George Purcell, who gets in behind the Town defence but scuffs badly wide.

3:16pm

Delano Sam-Yorke does brilliantly down the right, beating two men. His pull-back is decent as well, finding Tim Sills, but the striker's effort is wayward to say the least. A decent opportunity wasted.

3:11pm

That's a decent spell of pressure for Town, with a couple of dangerous crosses flying in - but nothing comes of it.

3:10pm

Delano Sam-Yorke is perhaps a bit fortunate there as an altercation ends with him seeming to put his head into Danny Walder. There was no force and the defender did him a favour by not making too much of it, but the referee could have seen it differently.

Sam-Yorke is not even booked - but he does have to remove some black cycling shorts on the side of the pitch as they do not match his red kit.

3:03pm

YELLOW CARD - Basingstoke Town - Nathan Campbell

Stuart Lake makes a mistake in midfield and Campbell brings Rory Hill down on the edge of the area, earning himself a caution.

It's a decent chance for Frannie Collin from the dead ball but he can only smack his effort into the wall.

3:01pm

Town get the game under way. It is 3-5-2, with Matt Warner on the right.

2:53pm

It's an overcast afternoon in Kent but the pitch looks in decent shape. I'm without electricity in the press box here so you may have to be a bit patient towards the end of the game if my laptop battery runs out of juice.

2:43pm

Team news - Three changes for Town, two of them enforced. Goalkeeper Ashley Bayes and Nathan Smart are out injured, while Jordace Holder-Spooner is dropped to the bench.

Shaun McAuley and Jide Ogunbote are still out of contention, but Stuart Lake has been passed fit to pay and Simon Dunn is on the bench.

Chay Morris, Nathan Campbell and Toby Little come in and it looks like they will play 3-5-2, with Matt Warner forced to play as right wing-back.

Tonbridge feature former Town midfielder Robbie Kember, while the main danger is likely to come from prolific striker Frannie Collin.

Tonbridge: Worgan, Walder, Muggeridge, Kember, Judge, Miles, Hill, Piper, Purcell, Collin, Koranteng. Subs: Suarez, Crimmen, Lovell, Browning.

Basingstoke: Morris, Rice, Warner, Adams, Gasson, Lake, Daly, Campbell, Sills, Sam-Yorke, Little. Subs: Brown, Holder-Spooner, Paterson, Dunn, McDonnell.
