GREAT Britain changed the team for the final of the Olympics 4 x 400m relay, but sadly Old Basing's Robert Tobin was not selected instead Dai Greene replaced Nigel Lavine, as Conrad Williams, Jack Green and Martyn Rooney kept their places.
As was the case four years ago when Tobin did run in the Olympics final, the Brits had to settle for fourth place behind gold medalists Bahamas, USA while Trinidad and Tobago (2:59.40) finish 13 hundredths of a second ahead of Britain (2:59.53) to claim bronze.
