OLD Basing runner Robert Tobin misses out on his first chance to run at the London Olympics as he was not picked for Team GB's four man 4x400 relay team.
Without the runner who won a silver in the European Championships the quartet of Nigel Lavine, Conrad Wiliams, Jack Green and Martyn Rooney brought Team GB home in second place to qualify for Friday evening's final.
After Lavine's poor opening leg run Tobin may still have a chance to compete.
