JENNY Skilton, Debbie Hardcastle, Helen Wilcox and Doreen Quilter helped LoddonSherpas to a 6-0 victory over Viking in the Basingstoke and District Badminton League Division of Four.
The victory saw LoddonSherpas take a nine point lead over Phoenix at the top-of-the-table.
Viking’s hopes of getting something out of the game were not helped when league chairman Ruth Cairns was injured early in her second rubber and had to concede that one and a third.
BH Pegasus A maintained top spot in the Men’s division one after three recent wins.
Their first victims were visiting Andover Sports, whom they beat 7-2. Chris Pearson/Nick Reid won their three rubbers supported by two each from Steve Harrison/Ray Chow and Ramsey Domloge/Veera Arunachalam, while Ian Swatton and Damien Roberts scored two for the losers.
With Chris Egan in place of Chow the BH Pegasus A side beat Aldermaston 9-0 again at home for the second win.
The last of the three victories was 6-3 away against Viking A, who are now 20 points adrift in the table.
Simon Williamson/Tim Cooper won two of the losers’ rubbers and Chris Powell/Scott Wilkins got the third.
Chris Pearson/Chris Bowry won their three for BH Pegasus A, with Harrison/Chow getting two and Domloge/Arunachalam picking up the sixth.

Keith Miles and Horace Mitchell recorded the fifth rubber for the visitors, while for the home side’s Peter Bevell/Michael Nash scored a maximum with Adam Bridgen/John Beattie getting the fourth.
