THE BASINGSTOKE Bison made it four home wins on the trot after a 3-1 local derby victory over the Bracknell Bees on Saturday night.
The Herd still minus three defencemen opened the scoring from captain Nicky Chinn at 11:09.
The home side doubled their advantage in the second session as Viktor Kubenko beat former Bison netminder Tom Annetts.
The visitors set up a tense finish when Matt Foord scored with less then three minutes, but Marcel Petran with an empty net goal made sure of the victory.
