WAVERLEY and Viking drew 3-3 in their opening game in the Ladies Division of Four in the Basingstoke and District Badminton League.
Gill Trimmer and Sarah Fenton, the Waverley number one and two, took part in one successful rubber each, while Heather Mountford and Sammi Wu participated in two each.
Juliet MacAskill won all three of her rubbers for Viking supported by Deborah Vincent taking part in two, winning one, and newcomer Amy Oxford (16) playing in one.
A two pair Andover Sports team won 5-4 at Aldermaston in Men’s Division One.
Geriant Griffiths and Emerson Cumberbatch won a maximum for the winners, complimented by the remaining two rubbers from Chris Clarke/Ben Sellers. Neil Hince and Stuart Gaunt won the solitary home rubber.
