BASINGSTOKE and North Hants ended their season with a defeat – losing by 152 runs away at Maidenhead and Bray.
The home side batted first and reached 278-4, thanks largely to the efforts of Najeeb Bashir, who made 114.
Basingstoke never got close to chasing this, being dismissed for 126, Martyn James top-scoring with 53.
