Four titles in a great summer for Kelsey

TOTALLY Tennis performance players have been in action over the summer holidays in tournaments throughout the south of England.

Kelsey Mosquera has been in great form, winning four titles at Pewsey as she took the under-12 and under-14 girls crown as well as the under-14 girls and mixed doubles.

At Kingsley she was under-14 girls champion quickly followed up with victory at the under-12 competition at Portcullis Wallingford.

Mosquera was a double champion at Woodstock taking the under-12 and under-14 single titles.

Then at Haselmere she played Rose Dixon in the semi-final and won 6-4,4-6, 6-4. before beating Milly Rawlinson in the final 6-2,6-1,6-3In the mixed doubles competition after a very close match she and Henry Gregson won 6-3,4-6,10-7.

Nick Dingwall along with partner Brad Johnson won the Under-14 doubles at the Milford Open in the New Forest.

In the quarter-finals Dingwall and Johnston beat Reuben Mitchell and Hamilton Kavanagh 4-1, 4-1 5-4 followed a 5-4 (5), 5-5 (5) success over Mitchell Bentley and David Pearce in last four.

In the final the pair they beat Louis Froome and Finely Bygrave to win the title 4-2, 5-4 (1).

In the Under 14 Boys Singles, Dingwall beat William Lewis 6-2, 6-2 and defeated Christopher Blythe in three sets in the quarter-finals 6-1, 4-6, 10-8 but he was not so lucky in the next round losing against eventual winner Adam Carter 7-5, 6-4.

Younger brother Andrew Dingwell also competed in the Under-10 Mixed Singles where he was runner-up of the consolation event after losing to Ethan Evison 4 -2, 4-1 in the final.
