ONDREJ Lauko scored another four goal blitz as the Basingstoke Bison won at the Bracknell Bees on Sunday night 6-4.
It completed a clean sweep of victories over their local rivals in what was a close contest until the final period.
The Herd opened the scoring thanks to Andy Hemmings, only for Callum Best and Ashley Calvert to give the Bees a 2-1 lead at the first buzzer.
Within a minute of the re-start, Slovak sniper Lauko grabbed his first of the night, only for Michal Pinc to score to make it 3-2.
Bison’s Shaun Thompson squared the game again, before the second buzzer as he put away a Mindy Kieras rebound.
The final period saw Lauko score a straight hat-trick, the last goal being shorthanded to chalk up his third four goal tally of the season and move the scoreline to 6-3.
Soon after, Adam Bicknell pulled a goal back for Bracknell, who then had their netminder Carl Ambler dismissed after talking out of turn to referee Nigel Boniface.
That left Adam Marashi to take over in goal and he was pulled for the extra skater in the final minute of the game, but the home side were unable to find a way past former Bees goalie Tom Annetts as the Bison recorded the win.
