'Stoke recover to claim home victory

BASINGSTOKE came from behind to claim a 37-22 victory over Diss in their National Three London encounter at Down Grange on Saturday.

’Stoke were losing 17-3 with half-time approaching, but Sam Harding crossed the line with the final play of the opening period to keep the home side in touch.

The former New Zealand flanker added another try in the second half, while Ashley Patterson, George Scott and Rory Greenslade-Jones also got on the scoresheet.
