Sheffield avenge Basingstoke Bison victory

SHEFFIELD avenged their defeat in Basingstoke the previous night, with a comfortable 6-0 victory in Ice Sheffield on Sunday.
The Herd kept out the Elite league leaders until the second period, when Joey Talbot and then Robert Dowd scored.
The final session saw four more Sheffield goals all from players who have formerly worn the Bison jersey, as Brad Cruikshank, Jason Hewitt and a brace from Doug Sheppard completed the scoring.
