GREG Chambers scored the winning penalty shot, as the Basingstoke Bison came from two goals to down to beat league leaders the Sheffield Steelers in a penalty shoot-out.
In a tense finish, Chambers won the contest with the 18th shot of the shoot-out, to send most of the bumper 1,100 plus crowd home happy.
Earlier the in game, which saw the return of former Bison captain Brad Cruikshank, the Steelers had built up a 3-1 lead, thanks to goals from Rod Sarich, Jeff Legue and Doug Sheppard.
The Herd hit back to take the game into overtime thanks to strikes from Chambers, Brent Hughes and Danny Stewart.
