BASINGSTOKE RFC beat Tunbridge Wells 31-14 to pick up their fourth straight win, a result that lifts them up to second in the London division two south table.
’Stoke were brilliant in the first 20 minutes of the match, with Simon Buckland, Andrew Fitchett and Glen Lewis scoring tries to leave their hosts with a mountain to climb at 17-0.
Lewis added his second of the match before the break, with Darren Lillywhite completing the Basingstoke scoring five minutes into the second half.
The Kent side mustered two second half tries but never looked likely to make a comeback.
