Miller opens Bison account

NEW Basingstoke Bison signing Matt Miller scored his first goal for the club, but it could still not stop his side losing 6-2 in Sheffield on Sunday night.
The Steelers never looked back after racing into a 4-0 first period lead, thanks to goals from Rod Sarich, Joey Talbot Ryan Finnerty and Ashley Tait.
Former Bison Doug Sheppard added a fifth, before Miller pulled a one back, only for Finnerty to net Sheffield’s sixth.
Basingstoke’s Brad Cruikshank in his first game back from suspension, scored the only strike of the final 20 minutes.
