Fifteen Basingstoke Railway Piscatorials were at Soke Road Lake for their latest fixture, where match secretary Dave Edwards and Keith Brown tied for top spot with 55lb of carp each, Keith caught on pole and maggot in the margins whilst Dave caught on maggot in all areas, I managed 48lb 8oz of carp on paste whilst Trevor Matthews pole and magged it for 45lb. Kennet Ospreys match at Court Farm put Bobby Williams in the driving seat with 195lb 2oz of carp on pole and paste, Colin Thomas adopted the same tactic at the adjacent peg for 137lb 7oz of carp, Steve Hunt used pole and pellet for his 136lb followed by Graham Shadwell with 132lb.
