It is with great sadness that I write about the passing of angler and friend Terry Burt.

Terry was an all round good egg who’s wry sense of humour would bring a smile to many a dour face.

Three weeks ago I spoke with him about this coming Saturday’s Tony Skeats Memorial Match and he was as keen as ever to participate, sadly it was not to be, but I’m sure his sense of humour will still be felt at the event.

Rest in peace Terry and our thoughts are with your family on this sad occasion.

Catch me next week.
