This helped the Oaks to a 45 run victory over visiting Wherwell to keep them top of the Hampshire League County Division Four North.

In Division Three North, Hook and Newnham Basics III moved up to fourth after a 14-run success success.

They batted first and made 180 with 14-year-old Olly James on his third team debut making 51 and then evergreen Barry Goodman took 5-19 as the home side were bowled out for 166.

Dean Nurse hit an excellent 95 as Ramsdell won a one wicket thriller at Division Three North leaders RAM, who they bowled out for 214.
