Kennet Osprey went out of the National Supercup Competition on Saturday last at Brookhouse Lake near Uckfield in East Sussex, with two other teams in contention in sections of three, winning your section was imperative, alas only Simon (the god) Kiefer managed to do so.

However, some of the sections were tight and Osprey were second on the day.

Dwayne Seed scored two points, along with Ray Shepherd, Andy Leith and Graham Shadwell, Anthony Thomas three points giving Osprey’s a total of 12 points.

The winners The Carp Shop scored seven points, Ospreys managed 12 points with Dorking trailing on 19 points.

Local knowledge played a big part in Ospreys demise.

Staceys Supremo Keith Brown would like to thank the anglers who participated in last Sunday’s work party at Old and New Barlows Lakes.

Catch me next week.
