HARTLEY Wintney cruised to a nine wicket victory in the first round of the T20 Cup as they beat visiting Paultons.
The visitors were put into bat and were bowled out for 110, Ben Hyde led the attack with 3-29, well supported Will Ross 2-5 from two over and Daniel Bowles 2-4 from six balls.
In reply, Will Kerr (10) departed with the score on 16.
After this Matt Kerr and Daniel Nightingale shared an unbroken 99 as the village sides secured a great victory.
Kerr hit 53 from 41 balls which included seven fours and two fours, while Nightingale finished unbeaten on 41 from 37 balls as he hit a six and six fours.
