Finch Group Cyril Thompson Trophy
WHITCHURCH and Oakley are the latest teams to win their opening games in the Finch Group Cyril Thompson Trophy.
Whitchurch beat Rotherwick ITW by five wickets and Oakley’s 142 proved too much for Stratfield Turgis The next game in the Trophy is on June 4 when Hook and Newnham B take on Ramsdell at May’s Bounty, before this there is a Finch Group Guy Jewell Cup clash between Hartley Wintney and Basingstoke and North Hants on May 31, also at May’s Bounty.
Results: Rotherwick ITW 90-7 (G Jenkins 22, N Marriott 2-17, R Osmond 2-22, S Munday 2-25), Whitchurch 92-5 (R Osmond 40no, A Corderly 3-52), Oakley 142, Stratfield Turgis 110-2.
